Matt Arner - President
Matt is the founder and President of SolarFlair Energy Inc. He has worked in the solar industry since 1999 and was one of the first residents of Massachusetts to power his entire home with solar power. He is a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional and is an active member of the Solar Energy Business Association of New England (SEBANE). His passion and leadership in the renewable energy industry helped inspire SolarFlair's rapid growth. Before starting SolarFlair, he worked with Heliotronics, a provider of educational solar displays for schools, universities and homeowners. While at Heliotronics, Matt helped develop over 150 solar installations and educational displays including systems at MIT, Harvard, and 15 schools in Missouri. In 2002, Matt was chosen as the only United States representative by India’s Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources to attend the “International Training Program on Solar Energy” at the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay. He was also invited by the United Nations Development Program to attend the “Nepal Conference on Clean Energy Investment” as a representative of the solar PV industry.
Matt received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in international studies from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. After working two years for Accenture Consulting as a management consultant to large electric utilities and industrial clients, he attended the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and completed his Masters Degree in International Development with a focus on the solar energy industry. While in graduate school, he worked as an independent utility and solar energy consultant, developing several solar photovoltaic projects in the Boston area and overseas in developing countries.
Jeff Constantine – Vice President of Operations
Jeff has more than 25 years experience in the electrical industry and is a Massachusetts licensed Master Electrician. He also holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors License (CSL). As the Vice President of Operations, his responsibilities include managing our operations department, sourcing and managing all material resources, and overseeing safety and quality for all installations. Jeff is currently working towards his NABCEP certification.
Prior to joining the company, Jeff managed his own electrical contracting business focusing on energy systems for commercial and residential properties. Jeff excels at meeting the needs of residential homeowners to ensure satisfaction throughout the entire installation process. He has worked at every level of electrical contracting, beginning his career as an electrical apprentice and working his way up to serve as a top foreman.
Pam Faustine - Finance Manager
Pam brings a long history of experience in the financial industry as an internal business auditor and financial analyst. Pam is an integral part of making sure SolarFlair runs smoothly, by managing all accounting and human resource functions. Pam is a Certified Internal Auditor with a B.S in Accounting from Babson College, and has also received her M.B.A from Bryant College in Rhode Island. After completing her education, Pam started working for GTE Service Corporation as an Audit Analyst making her responsible for operational and financial audits of manufacturing, engineering, and service oriented business units. After 10 years of working as an Analyst, Pam began her work as a Controller at C3 Material Corporation where she advised senior employees on all proposals, additionally she implemented a cash forecasting summary for the CFO. With Pam’s financial analysis expertise, she helps SolarFlair run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
